Top 3 Fall Activities North of Indy

One of my favorite things about the fall is all the activities and festivals! I'll highlight more as the season unfolds, but I felt it best to start by sharing our Top 3 fall activities near Carmel, IN that we be sure never to miss.

Dull’s Tree Farm Harvest Festival

1765 West Blubaugh Avenue, Thorntown, IN

Dull’s is the ULTIMATE Fall Festival destination just north of Carmel. Fall food favorites? Check. Animals to pet? Check. Rides, Slides, and Games? Check. There is a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and potato guns. There are seriously so many activities I’m not sure if my kids have actually played on everything as we go every year! You can spend an entire day at Dull’s and not get bored or do the same thing twice.. It’s truly the best fall festivals have to offer.

HOURS:

Open Thursday - Sunday, Sept. 24 - October 30

Thursday & Friday (Starting 10/6): 1pm-7pm

Saturday: 10am - 7pm

Sunday: 1pm - 7pm

Tickets: use code KUIC22 for $2 off your admission! Get tickets, here.

Stuckey Farms Harvest Festival

19975 Hamilton Boone Rd, Sheridan, IN

Stuckey Farms is a must do every year for us because it combines two favorite activities: fall festival games + attractions and apple picking. When you visit stuckey you can go play in the adventure acres and do the giant slide, bounce house, and barrel train. Then, when you need a little break, you can hop on the free tractor ride out to the orchard and search with your family for the best apples of the season!

HOURS:

Open every Saturday & Sunday from Sept 17th - October 30

Saturday: 9am - 7pm

Sunday: 1pm - 5pm

Get tickets, here.

Sullivan Hardware PumpkinTown

11405 Allisonville Rd, Fishers, IN

Right on the border of Carmel and Fishers is our newest fall staple activity—the Sullivan Express to PumpkinTown. Many are familiar with the Sullivan Express Christmas event, but last year introduced us to a fall-themed version that did not disappoint. You and your family hop in a train car on the Sullivan Express and it takes you out to PumpkinTown—a fall festival in itself. There is music and drinks for the adults and lots of fun activities for the kids. Trick or treat trail, pumpkin painting, hay bales to climb—and you can stay in pumpkin town as long as you want! Just grab a train car back when you are ready to leave.

Tickets to ride the train are available at various times Wednesday - Sunday, Sept 28th - October 30th. Get tickets, here.
